ContraindicationsDo not give to pregnant or nursing pets, pets using autoimmune disease medications, pets about to be bred, scheduled for surgery in 2 weeks or before or following any organ or bone marrow transplant or skin graft. Drug InteractionsMay interact with auto-immune suppressant and stimulation medications. Consult your vet for direction with use. May potentiate blood pressure, blood thinning, diabetic and hypoglycemia medications. May potentiate medications changed by the liver (Cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) substrates and may decrease how quickly the liver breaks down some medications, including lovastatin (Mevacor), Rimadyl, ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), fexofenadine (Allegra), triazolam (Halcion), and others.
